Anybody that has trouble with trying to quit smoking knows that it is extremely hard. With smoking, you never know when the addiction hits you, making it impossible to quit if you wanted to. Smokers usually do not care about all of the money that could be saved from quitting. Purchasing cigarettes has already become a priority. Smokers do not care that their ceilings and walls are stained or that they are always pungent with the odor of an ashtray.

Would you like to be able to hold yourself from leaving a warm building in order to stand in sub zero temperatures so you can take a few hits off a cigarette? Would you like to finish a meal for once without leaving the table or not worry about how you will survive a new job that will not allow smoking breaks? Do you keep extra cartons of cigarettes around worried that there might be a natural disaster that will make cigarette purchasing impossible? If the answer is yes, then you despise the cigarette having control over you.

The trick is to start hating the cigarette. If you can hate the cigarette enough to realize it is the enemy and you are stronger, you will have the power to resist it. The trick to stop smoking naturally comes in three parts. The first part is knowing that you are ready to try to quit. The second part is admitting that you are sick of the cigarette controlling you. When you are very ill you will sometimes go a whole three days without smoking. This is the perfect boost you need. When the fourth day comes around and you are down to just a sniffle, it will be so much easier to resist picking up those cigarettes. You have already gone many hours and passed the hardest part of withdrawal. This is the time to demolish and cigarettes still lying around. Do not think to give them away. Crush them! Tell your friends what you did. They will support you.

Now that you have done the absolute hardest part, the rest is downhill. There will be bumps though. You can do it. Just always remember that the urges that follow will only last a few minutes each time. Go swimming. Do something to distract yourself. Find online support articles. Smoke through a cut in half straw. Smoke fresh air. When you fight the control, your life will change.
